Gerald Resnick
Chairman

Gerald Resnick has served as Chairman of RSI since inception. Gerald’s career was spent as an officer, director and founder of numerous public, private and non-for-profit companies. He brings hands-on business management experience, in a number of diverse industries, from retail automotive dealerships to international licensing of technologies. Mr. Resnick was the Co-founder and Director of Noise Cancellation Technologies, Inc., the founder and served as President and Chairman of a licensed competitive local exchange carrier in 37 states, and the founder of a digital rights management secure software development company. Mr. Resnick contributes his extensive operational and transactional expertise.

In his thirty years as a practicing transactional attorney he has embraced all aspects of corporate and tax law.
Hal Stuhler
Vice President of Engineering

Hal Stuhler has served as Vice President of Engineering of RSI since its inception. He is responsible for implementing an exploratory and prototype scale as well as developing the manufacturing plant. Hal's career was spent most recently as Technical Manager of Chemicals and Metals Technology a consulting company whose work involves implementation both hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processes. He brings 30 years of implementation of processes from lab scale to manufacturing with clients such as INCO, Boston-Power, Tiax, and Arthur D. Little. His early work experience includes process implementation at Cities Service Research Co., NL Industries, RFE Industries and Millennium Cell. Hal has experience in the management of three startup companies. Hal has a degree in both Chemical Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering.

Michael Binder

Michael Binder received his Ph.D. from N.Y.U. and has 25 years experience in directing basic and applied chemical research and product development in private industry and in government. He has published 70 technical papers and been awarded 25 US patents in electrochemistry, primary and rechargeable battery engineering, hydrogen generation, fuel cells, catalysis, material science, capacitor technology, conductive polymers, spectroscopy, and process development. Dr. Binder has extensive experience in technology transfer, and has successfully marketed developed technologies and established long term cooperative relationships with academic institutions, government, and private industry.

Steve Amendola
Chief Executive Officer
Steve is the original founder and main inventor of RSI's technology. He has over twenty five years scientific experience and fifteen years of business and managment experience of which a decade is in the field of alternative energy. Steve is the founder of Millenium Cell, Inc (MCEL, NASD) and inventor of its technologies, which develops hydrogen battery technology through a patented chemical process that safely stores and deliver hydrogen energy to power portable devices.

Steve holds many patents and is has been a renowned chemist in his field for many years.



Stephanie Goldman
Research Chemist
Dr. Stefanie Goldman is one of the lead scientists involved in making solar cell silicon a reality. Previously, she has worked for Millennium Cell, Inc., an alternative energy company focused on hydrogen battery technology, and for Carbozyme, Inc., a R&D company focused on carbon dioxide separation and capture. During the ten years of working in the fields of alternative energy and carbon dioxide mitigations, Dr. Goldman has authored 4 patents and 12 peer-reviewed papers.
Lori Stuhler
Office Manager
Lori is the General Office Manager at RSI Silicon Since July 1,2007. She is responsible for implementing purchasing, accounting, and human resource policies, as well as performing other administrative duties. She is a founder of Chemical and Metals Technology specializing in implementing chemical and metal processes. Previous employment included Electronic Precision Circuitry which was a subsidiary of Cookson America as the Vice President of Operations. Lori is a graduate of the University of R.I. with a B.S. degree of Electrical Engineering.
Lois A. Johnson
Senior Scientist
Dr. Johnson is an experimental igneous petrologist with experience in crystal growth in both natural and synthetic systems. Lois Johnson is a lead experimental scientist involved in the development of methods for materials synthesis and characterization for the development of our solar silicon.

Dr. Johnson earned her degrees at Rutgers University and was the lab manager of the X-ray diffraction laboratory at the Center for Ceramic Research at Rutgers University. Dr. Johnson’s previous experience includes the design and implementation of advanced characterization laboratories at renewable and alternative energy firms.
